Today I want to share with you something I heard from Terry Crews, the
actor and former American football player.

Terry has a Youtube channel where he talks about Motivation, insights and

On his video “How to Beat Discouragement”, he says the essence of
discouragement is self pity and that self-pity stops all progress and all action.
Self pity will definitely cause you discouragement and unhappiness.

As soon as you start getting into self-pity you just STOP! and no progress
is made.

Self pitty is a feeling that you have when you focus on the negatives going on
around you and you place the blame externally, outside of you.

You can not control other people and you can not control events…all you can do
is control how you respond to each one of those!

So what does Terry say is the way to stop discouragement and to end the
pitty party?

GRATITUDE. Think about the things you got! Change your focus from what you don’t
have in your life to what you do have.

If you think you have nothing to be grateful for then let me share some things
with you…

  • Did you know that 1 out of 7 people in the world are illiterate?
  • That only 9% of the world owns a car?
  • 100 Million people are homeless world wide and 1.6 Billion people lack
    adequate housing!
  • The average salary in the world is $1,480/mo or $928 British Pounds.
  • If you make over $32,400 a year, you are in the top 1% of income earners in
    the WORLD!!!!

So you are telling yourself you have nothing to be grateful for!

Now I am not saying that you haven’t in the past or you are not currently
struggling with some major issues in your online business or in your life.
What I am saying is that focusing and dwelling on that stuff is going to
discourage you and stop you in your tracks.

To help change your focus, move you out of discouragement and get you moving
towards success, implement the practice of gratitude into your daily life.

Preferably first thing in the morning. Think of 3 to 5 things that you are
grateful for and preferably write them down. Now if you are really discouraged
and think you have nothing to be grateul for than start with just one thing.

Know you don’t just say it and move on with your day. You must close your eyes
shut out all distractions and truly feel the gratitude for the thing you are
grateful for. Truly focus on how it makes you feel and sit there for 3 to 5
minutes just letting the feelings of gratitude well up inside you and spread
throughout your body.

If you let this happen I can assure you you will want to bottle up the amazing
warm of bliss and and use it everyday because it is such an amazing feeling!

Please try this and do it now after this episode and then implement this into
your morning each and everyday.

It will make an incredible positive impact on your business and your life!!!
